Today is the final of the Rotterdam Open, between Nadal and Murray.
For Federer fans the match today still means something, even if Federer himself didn’t play in the tournament. We still believe that he has a chance to rise and get a better result in winning tournaments and also fixing his personal record against Nadal. We still expect him to have a chance to be Number 1 again – we therefore expect Murray to be at his best performance when he plays Nadal today.
Despite Nadal’s recent impressive achievements, both players actually have a 50-50 winning chance due to the fact that Murray is a complete player with his strong serve, and killer backhand and forehand smash. The only things Murray needs are consistency and patience, something that Nadal naturally has to cover his weakness which is his serve.

What a pity Rafa was injured today. In the second set he was able to put away winners despite the pain, and it really looked like Murray was going to fall apart. Still, he is a battler and was great to see him go the three sets. Just hope he’ll be pack in peak condition soon…
